Well I've recently dived into it, to make some stuff for me own RTS (in Fenix). This is the very first thing I made with it: The tankmodel that is. I know they are currently too dark for the rest of the stuff, but that will change. Also, do you know how I can automate the capturing of 16 shots from different angles in Cinema4D? Til now I've done it by hand. ____________ BennuWiki Yes, my avatar has grey borders in IE (so get a decent browser) ROOFLEZ ROOFLEZ |

I sure hope you mean you're going to make the tanks brighter and not making the terrain darker.

sure.. go to the edit menu, click project settings enter 15 at maximum. (starts with frame 0) select the complete model in rotate mode. rotate the model to H=0. click on record position or press F9 now drag the animation frame bar to frame 15 then rotate the model to H=359 and press F9 again. now you can click play or render the animation :p I leave the rest for you to figur out looking very nicely btw.. much better than my fist tank [Edited on September 24, 2005 by Sergei] ____________ |

@Ferret: Yes...tank brighter...;) @Sergei: Thanks! I'll try it out now. [EDIT] Indeed! It works, I can now make a movie, but is it possible to make seperate pictures (.png preferably)? Also, I have this bunch of objects grouped into a null object, but when i rotate the null object, all the objects get disformed, stretched or the opposite. Is there way to prevent this?

yeah i had this too sometimes.. i fixed it by grouping it again.. but this does not always work. for the frames you could try a small movie editor ____________ |

It worked, thanks. I use Animation Shop 3 to convert it all to .PNGs, works sweet. ____________ BennuWiki Yes, my avatar has grey borders in IE (so get a decent browser) ROOFLEZ ROOFLEZ |
