Oh, I intend to submit the game just before the deadline, but it's already clear to me that not all features will be implemented at that time. Still, Ariel would not be pleased if I submitted nothing at all. ____________ Maker of Games... Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Need help with coding? I probably wrote something similar. |

I hope not. That way we still have a change to end up in the top 3. (As for your unedited post, I've added more bugs in this half hour than you've had to fix alltogether :P) ____________ Maker of Games... Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Despite the low amount of final submissions, the competition certainly was successful in generating continuous worklog activity & new users. And a lot of people have projects going now which they might finish (and upload) some day. I do wonder though how to maximise the amount of final submission for a competition. Next competition a 72 hour competition and 1000,- Euro cash? Wasn't Skull going to sponsor that? ____________ Personal website: http://www.loijson.com |

Do enough people here have time for a 72hr competition? I mean, giving people a few months is good because they can fit it around work/school/college/uni/whatever, but 72hrs could just be too short to fit around all of these things that can't be avoided. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I know I don't have enough time in a 3-day period to produce a game. ____________ |

actually, i think a very short time span competition would work out better.. plan it around a public holiday 3 day weekend or something and have a broad theme (like the DIV space-theme competition) I could spend a weekend coding a small game. Anyways, looking forward to playing the entries, and at least nobody will go home empty handed! Though cat-food is a pretty crappy prize LOL.
