Taking Back Sunday - Louder Now Stone Sour - Come What(ever) May Lostprophets - Liberation Transmission Alexisonfire - Crisis From First to Last - Heroine 36 Crazyfists - Rest Inside the Flames Dragonforce - Inhuman Rampage God... I could go on and on. Oh, and lets not forget My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade. This is just reminding me of all the CDs I still need to get. Tell you who completely failed to leave a mark, +44 and Angels And Airwaves (AVA). Both ex-Blink 182 bands, who are nothing at all without the other half of their old band (especially in the case of AVA). ____________ |

Damn, you listen to powermetal a lot, yonni. Instead of albums, I'll tell some artists I learned of this year: Moonsorrow Sentenced The Vision Bleak Katatonia Elend Moonsorrow and Elend I find the greatest among these. They provide the best atmosphere and produce a fantastic sound. Moonsorrow is blackmetal, a little vikingmetalish maybe sometimes; Elend is very hard to define, because it's a sort of horrormusic: it's 'scary' to listen to. The others are of less quality but reasonably entertaining from time to time. Actually, atm I'm listening to Moonsorrow - Haaska. ____________ BennuWiki Yes, my avatar has grey borders in IE (so get a decent browser) ROOFLEZ ROOFLEZ |

This was sort of a boring year in music. I miss 1999-2002 Muse's Black Holes and Revelations and Islands's Return to the Sea will be hard to beat, but I'm still picking up 2006 albums I missed. Oneida, Annuals, and Beirut have all released albums that sound awesome and could take the title. ____________ boredome is the bitter fruit of too much routine |
