Okay heres the story.
My friend is a good 3d graphic maker.
I'm a good artist,3d graphic directer and a game designer
Main talent being game design, not like stupid ones where they make stupid ideas like how about a game where you work in a car shop.

Anyway idea was imagine a game where your a french frie and food fight in a turn based game like worms and can build weapons like a spoon on a pepper shaker with hot sauce and match makes a fire throwing catapult.

I called it "Food Fighters"

So my friend loved the idea, went home and started immediatly creating the character with animation master (screenshot soon to be posted up)

Anyone we changed the idea a little bit every minute so its now a :

3d 3rd person team-based multiplayer only (well mainly) similar to worms minus turn-base including situations including CTF, Assualt, and others. in levels like a fully 3d micro machines with vehicles like Rc humvees, tanks etc. all wich have to be built. All weapons must found or made like spud gun will obviously need to equiped with a potato. Things like melted candle wax can make you climb walls for short periods. Push a baseball down cardboard tube and give the enemy the indiana jones effect. Levels will be Canteen, Burger Bar, Hell's Kitchen, Christmas Dining Table, Kitchen and Bathtub

Basicly:
Worms 4 + Timsplitters 2 + Micro Machines + Chibo Robo + Food = Food Fighters

Okay a bit crazy for now but if a demo where made and sent to Nintendo as a game for the Wii ???

But that is impossible coz

Designer + Graphic Artist = ?Game?

So anyone think they have the skill to make a simple demo of how to make a catapult, wait or simpler just picking thing up and useing them, or simpler, as simple as you want

:praise: :praise: :praise: :praise: :praise: :praise: :praise:

Actually does anyone know how to do 3d demos even???

um.. so you got a good idea for a game, but its so ridiculously complex you want somebody else to make it for you? This is a competition bud. I suggest you learn a language like DarkBasic Pro or Blitz3D if you want to do 3D stuff

The french frite looks nice. :)

About your idea to send a demo to Nintendo: I am not sure if you want them to make the game for you if they like the demo, or if you only want them to allow you to produce it for the Wii?

Nintendo doesn't take random game requests and builds games out of it. So if you mean that you want them to make the game, then that's not going to happen. Many people (and certainly all game developers) have game ideas, and that's probably also why most of us on this site learned programming in the first case, to realize a cool game idea. So really, if you want to make a game then please oh please try to learn a programming language! You don't have to be an expert at once (or at all)! It's just a necessary tool to realize fun game ideas. Yes, programming might be hard and it might not be fun, but you'll get the fun out of seeing your game coming to existence.

To make a game for the Wii probably involves some Wii development kit (and the big question is if this is free), and that Dev kit will probably be for use with C/C++ only too. So really, you'd be much better off trying to realize your ambitions on the PC.

Dreaming is good. Pursuing dreams is even better! It just takes time. Who knows, fifteen years from now you might be developing some game for the next Nintendo console. It only require strong WILL to get that far.

It's probably going to be a long long wait before somebody shows up who wants to realize somebody else's game ideas. So basically yeah, you'd have to write it yourself.

A language like Blitz 3D is rather straight forward for 3D, and that would certainly be my package of choice for a 3D game, or perhaps Fenix + 3D dll. Your basic halo project (that was 2D, right?) could be done in Fenix. If I were you I'd try my hands on Fenix. You're free to add me on msn if you want me to lodge you through the learning process. :)
