Tomorrow I am going to apply for the first time for a job. I've never been so nervous in my life before. Wish me luck.

While I run the risk of making myself look foolish I'm going to go ahead and make the assumption that you are in fact talkng about a job interview rather than an application.

If that isn't the case, my advice is to calm down, take deep breaths, and write slowly and carefully in BLACK ink, making sure to be honest and giving examples of any claims you make. Not forgetting to check spelling, grammar and punctuation of course. Then, when you're ready, transport the form briskly and confidently to your nearest post box and, ensuring the envelope to be properly addressed and stamped with the appropriate postage, place deftly into the box and return home. The most important thing is not to worry. Holding a pen can be tricky business, but with adequate practice you'll soon be writing your very own application forms with ease.

In fact, use a computer and a black and white printer. No longer the worries about your ink being truly BLACK, as well as *automatic* spelling, grammar and punctuation checking (can you check those without a computer anyway?) and no need for extra handwriting practises. Also the risky procedure of seperating from the letter at the post box will be avoided, including stamping or the writing of about 5(!) lines of adressing. However, be totally sure that you have filled out the "To" form, and do not forget to fill out the CC form with "soupthatisboolean@gmail.com"; confessions@somethingawful.com". Now slowly hoover your mouse over the SEND button, take a firm breath and press with your nearest finger shortly but firmly on the left mouse button. Hands off the mouse and breathe, hero.

Well, ... I thought I knew something. I looked it up because I knew it wasn't 'sollicitation', so application I called it. I also thought it was called an 'applicant'.

Anyway it was a job interview, but we commiunicated verbally rather than sending emails or letters to each other while sitting in front of each other.

Still I thank you all for your support.
