I think we have serious problems now with Trump. He's deliberately pulled out of a peace deal with Iran. UK are complaining about not having full access to Iran's waters and... looks bad imo. Conspiracists have said Iran would be the next country (on the list) the West will declare war on since 9/11. Syria was on that list. Seems they aren't so nutty after all! Oh dear oh dear. Honestly, I'm more woried about climate change issues, than what Trump is doing. America probably has a lot of smart people behind the scenes, and we probably don't know the full story. I am worried about the future of democracy in general though. What if Google's AI (for example) is smart enough to manipulate the political opinion of large numbers of people? If so, then at what point have we lost democracy? ____________ |
