(preferably the Steam pack for $60) i have heard no mention of it amongst you guys and am enthused to buy it as soon as i can please write 100+ words unless you are fiona in which case everything is shit. unless fiona likes in which case it's fucking amazing for some reason. ____________ |

Well, woody loves it I believe. IT'S THE SAME OLD SHIT AS THE PREVIOUS UNREAL TOURNAMENTS. The graphics aren't heavy and it does look ok. 60 AMERICAN DOLLARS SOUNDS A LITTLE STEEP THOUGH.

I love it without having played it because the other UTs are evidence enough. I can't play it until the 360 version comes out because my computer has the mind of a child.

It's okay. It looks wonderful and plays quite nice. But it's not as fun to play as the previous offerings if just because of the art direction. While all other UTs weren't trying to be totally realistic, they had lots of bright colours and fun things to make the characters stand out and give the maps a huge amount of individuality. All that is lost when they've ramped up the polygon count to ridiculous levels and make everything "gritty". Also the story is hilariously bad. I'm being a little unfair to it mainly because UT2k4 is much better and it had some huge shoes to fill. It's a good game, but not the second coming, and you'd be better off with 2k4. ____________ laffo |

My housemate bought it for the PS3 and I haven't played it much. Unreal with a joypad is wrong. But I also think Unreal with vehicles all over the place is totally wrong too so maybe I'm just biased. ____________ This is my Blog. There are many like it, but this one is mine! I just realised the pack has 5 offerings of UT goodness. So, i'm downloading it as we speak. $54 dollars now, as Steam reduced the price. I'll probably post screens when I start playing. Weren't some UT2004 deathmatch levels really fucking cool? ____________ |

Well as the saying goes, if you want a job doing, do it yourself: The character set-up is pretty good, kind of has a mini-RPG feel about it. The menu is cool, non-intimidating and has a powerful feel about it. Same with graphics settings, quite simple. Not too shabby at all. The game entry still has a classic UT feel about it. In-game also has the classic feel. At first-look the graphics are amazing, i repeat AMAZING. My computer has a 8600GT and 4gig of RAM so, runs smoothly throught. The in-game close action is better than ANY UT i have ever seen. Kills seem to make sense 100% of the time. People who are hit by rocket-laucher can visibly be seen as hit and no confusion about "who is who" and "what happened there". It's just as fast and fun as the classics, really quite a wonderful upgrade to UT2004. The bots seem to have AI that really does make sense. Lauren is my favourite because she offers to "cover me" a hell of a lot. :'D Wait until i get my space suit off! I don't know why it hasn't been seen as a classic on meta-scores on the net. But that's just my first-look after a few games of team deathmatch. ____________ |
