I mean you can't have your betamix and eat it too. So all this shit where people are bad mouthing consoles ( i.e. nintentdos consoles ) saying that people are going to buy it as a second console is sticking in my graw. What the fuck do u want a second console for. Personally I can't wait for the console crash. Then I'll punch that Hideo Kojima so fucking hard when I steal his tramp whiskey, the tramp. So does anyone here have a second console that they bought with their own money or their own sexual for love favours? peace out. ____________ I see 57,005 people. |

Some people unevitably will own a second console. And most of them are probably rich "mummie's boys". But so what? It's their choice. I kind of hooked on to the fact that the new Nintendo's Wii will probably be somewhat a family entertainment machine. So maybe some families will purchase one in addition to the Xbox 360 or PS3. I have a SNES, Playstation 1 (chipped), XBOX, Gamecube, Gameboy, Gameboy pocket, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS. I also used to have a NES, Dreamcast, Sega Megadrive (genesis)... but they are sold a few years ago. Why are people always complaining on consoles? They are much cheaper, always run on max Performance and high detail gfx, and never crash... But true, you can't update your games with it. And it does not have spider solitaire and notepad. ____________ |

You don't need half of that at all. I don't and am getting by just fine with great performance on stupidly high settings. Looking at games that are coming out in the near future, I don't have to worry about anything for a while. I'm fairly confident I will have NO trouble with Unreal 3, and Crysis can kiss my arse frankly. As for physics cards, this technology is not out yet, and to be honest I'm not sure how it works. It's said that it's a seperate card designed to handle complex floating point algorithms that physics requires, taking strain away from the CPU. But I don't understand why it cannot be used for any floating point calculations, and if it can, then why is it called a physics processing unit?
