Please, someone else agree with me here. IE may be crap for many reasons, but firefox is noticably slower. Also, most websites are primarily designed for IE as it is the most popular browser, so you can be almost garunteed compatability. And before deadmaster mentions it, I know your site was designed for firefox.

On the contrary I find Firefox considerably faster, the only time it isn't is when you open it initialy. Since I only seem to do that once a day it's fine. The only websites I've found that don't work well on FF are fucking retarded useless ones that belong or are on Geocities servers. ____________ laffo |

Any site designed for a specific browser sucks. Anyone who says this site best view in blah blah is a fool. Standards are great and all but as long as I can see the page in any old site I'm happy. If it looks crap I don't mind. Only when it doesn't work and that is not the web browser's fault but the person developing the site's fault and it only matters if your a big corporation who cares about everyone.

Poor following of standards is mainly IE's fault anyway. The problem is too many people who have no damn clue what they're doing pretending to make websites.

when i say garunteed compatability, i mean that somethings simply dont work in other browsers, such as launchcast radio (and probably the videos too) on yahoo music dont work with firefox and netscape. But seriously, open the booleansoup homepage first in IE, and then in firefox, dont you notice the difference in speed? Of course it could just be my computer or whatever, but i dont see why it should be. ____________ |

Firefox version 1 and below was alot slower starting up I felt. IE should always be slightly faster though since it is built into the operating system. Lots of shit like that doesn't work in Firefox yonni. I know what you mean. But I just stop using sites that don't work and use the ones that do work. But that works both ways there are loads of firefox plugins and extensions that don't work in IE. I don't blame the browsers for that. Also making bad pages isn't IE's fault. The standard was changing so quickly they had to do what the did. IE is a great browser sort of. ____________ I see 57,005 people. |

Theres nothing i use in firefox that doesnt work as well in IE. I don't really see why everyone hates it so much. Yes its microsoft, but that doesnt make it automatically crap.

The lack of any security features at all make it automatically crap, pop-up blocker? HAH. The likes of tabbed browsing and support for a multitude of extensions are pluses I couldn't do without. Well huh, didn't different browsers brought these compatibility issues? I don't recall any compatibility issues before Firefox came along. I'm just saying so you better ignore me. I could be your murderer. As to which is faster? I mean huh again, how do you measure that? Firefox is noted to leak more memory, but then again it's also noted to be a feature. But measuring speed is like huh all over again, the other one needs to be considerably faster which means speed is not open for discussion. On the other hand Oyster's sister is open for business. ____________ |
