Pyramid head was from silent hill 2 and I thought the movie was about silent hill 1. i'm gonna watch it sunday. I played silent hill and doom with a freind of mine when I was 15-16 years old, and that day we said - just for fun - "acually silent hil would be very cool if they make a film of it. and doom would be too." funny thing is they made movies of BOTH these two games. Note: TownX was based on Silent Hill 2. Note 2: the sounds were from Silent Hill and the plot was partially stolen from silent hill 2. Edit: Quoting DTM: Its like a film or game or something? In dutch there's this expression "to have a hole in your culture". I think that's happening to you by not knowing ANYTHING about silent hill. [Edited on April 29, 2006 by Rhovanion] ____________ |

I went to see it last week, and I came out thinking it was awesome, albeit not quite as good as V for Vendetta. The bit where the Pyramid Head rips that girl's skin off is both awesome and quite scary at the same time.

I've seen it now. ***SPOILER ALERT*** *** *** *** *** The ending was a bit lame. What's with this tentacle porn? Nice was that every sound came from the games quadrioligy. And monsters from the game. And the decor was almost identical to the game. fear: it was scary but not that shocking to me. I'll rate it 7/10 *** *** *** *** ***END OF SPOILER*** Now the next game movie I'm gonna see is Metroid... Not too much information about it there. ____________ |

The barbed-wire tentacle rape scene pretty much clinched SH as the greatest movie ever filmed for me. Even if the plot makes no fucking sense whatsoever. I hear the original cut was three and a half hours long, though, so I suppose that'll happen. Director's cut here we come.
