Normally when I am on this page I should see a text area with rich text elements instead of a grey rectangle. I have the same settings as my classmate and it works for him, and not for me. Anyone got an idea?

The editor is only supported for internet explorer. (not my fault!). And deadmaster, you are a spammer

we both have internet explorer 6. We also checked our plugins. No differences. He has just formatted so no plugins are required... we must use this. We aren't allowed to use HTML because the content contributors are to adapt the information and they don't know HTML. No Firefox support  yes, Oracle Portal might be a bit crappy

You're going to need to give us mroe information then a picture if you're serious about geting this fixed. Like which editor you are using.

FCKeditor is a pretty popular one. Recently I came across the Dojo Rich Text Editor, I haven't used it in any projects but it seems good. Check out the demo and see how nice it is. the FCKeditor looks very very nice. The Dojo Rich Text Eitor link doesn't work here. (my browser crashes)

You might have something disabled, something to do with javascript. I'm assuming this since both the original editor you tried and the dojo one do not work. ____________ I see 57,005 people. |
