Oh God, sometimes I don't hate just the universe but fucking everything. Jesus. Also a bit suprised of Chile - Australia match's outcome. I managed to watch 20-30 minutes of it and Chile seemed to have it in the bag. Well they had it, but I was expecting a bigger bag. Australia seemed almost amateurish. A day of a few suprises :o I didn't watch the game between Colombia and Greece, only the summary. Greece looked super nervous, as if they didn't have a gameplan or the players hadn't ever played together. Chaos. I don't think Colombia was as overpowering as the result indicates but their goal celebrations showed they were genuinely moved. It must have been the heart, init? Group D is suppose to be a three horse race between Uruguay, Italy and England but now the pushover Costa Rica is leading it. Underdogs are awesome. Albeit I didn't see the game and there were 4 goals, it didn't look like an exciting game in the summary. Does Uruguay really need Suarez that much or what's going on? He's been benched because of injury. Then the big match of the day. Italy - England. Did watch it - oh yeah! Italy was the slight favourite and they delivered. Italy played more spectator friendly than they've used to play and altho England defended well, it wasn't the typical Hodgson turtle. First half was rather good ball and so was the second up until Italy scored their second goal. Then everything went to boring. Anyhow, I think the problem for England was attack, as their game was either beyond me(extremely possible) or relied almost entirely on personal skill. It's not like the substitutes played poorly but England's attacks flattened after the substitutes. I'm not sure why Rooney was kept on field because he's touch was as nervous as his face was. I also don't think England's goalkeeper was really up to the task today. France is also missing Ribery due to injury which is a big loss for them. Could it be as big a loss as Suarez is possibly to Uruguay?
