Why does university have to be so hard and unforgiving? Today I had an exam and I failed. I got told that I 'didn't study the material' while I spent a fucking week studying it every single day from 9 am to 11 pm. I knew the answers to each question that was asked to me on the oral exam. No, that's not enough. "Your statements are valid but on this occasion are unapplicable". That's great. Thank you. I just spent 92 hours studying for nothing. To throw it in the trashbin. I got told that "studying isn't like preschool. It's not about memorizing. It's about critical thinking and understanding". Yeah, excuse me if I don't know how to think critically yet. Excuse me if I can't make every possible relationship between each course because my IQ is not 180. I just want to pass and get my degree and I am getting sick and tired of my respect being tossed around. Doing your best is not enough. No, you have to MURDER YOURSELF AT IT IF YOU WANT TO HAVE 50% GRADE. That's the sad reality of it. I'm pissed. ____________ |

Well I understand that you are going through tough times now, but murdering yourself would not solve any issues at all. I'm sure that if you hang on, there will be brighter days ahead.. I'm convinced that you have a higher than average IQ, which might not be in your advantage now, but can be in the future. Anyway, try not to be that angry so often.
