- Hey keep your decency, if you hate me or want to verbally abuse me then there's place for it in the wastelands, not here -

I guess it's all against Rincewind :P. But yeah, obviously the boredome is just a bit of fun...

I do partly agree with Rincewind though. I don't think that randomly complaining about software helps anyone mutch. If there is something specifically wrong with software, you could always report the problem to the developers. If you didn't buy the software, then you could just choose to use other software too...

Somebody please report to Bill that he should burn all of his products.
About MSN: I hate the client. It's so freaking idiotic, the big fonts, the massive commercial banners, the insanely huge buttons, crappy layout, argh don't let me sum it all up! Trillian though is nice and tidy!

I hardly use MSN, so I'm not even picturing what you're talking about, but I know that big buttons aren't nessesarilly a bad thing. Kids and people with eye problems have advantage of them...

MSN isn't my favorite software though, but like I said, I hardly ever use it...

I only use third-party software for messenging. But the MSN protocol is crap anyway, it takes about a minute longer than every other one to even connect, what is up with that?

Few? I hope you're kidding.

Although one could argue that I probably code very simple games in comparison (ie; more arcadey, less RTS/puzzle games), I have had few bugs that I have not been able to work around - in fact, I've only ever had two (one with rounding errors, one with some wierd irrational code bug).

And I am making an RTS, currently around 15K lines, and so far all bugs were just my fault or Fenix being a retard and thus I fixed them. There's one major bug Fenix is to blame for: switch(my_string) end does NOT work properly and makes Fenix crash. The more switches, the more cases, the worse it is.

Oh, and line drawing doesn't work as well (with the "draw_line" function).

Is Fenix still doing that thing in 0.84 where it takes over local variables? I'm using 0.83b these days, currently got a project going.

Oh and line drawing does work, but I remember having troubles with deleting them, Fenix was sporadic in picking which ones to baleete. Can't remember how I fixed it now.

DTM:
GIMP.

Local Variables:
The first local you define becomes corrupted, so you should use a garbage local, otherwise locals work fine.

Drawing:
When drawing after drawing_map() Fenix will draw in the specific map and won't give an option to delete it, makes sense to me, why would you want to delete it and it would be a major drag for any program to accomplish that.
However, drawing after drawing_z() Fenix won't draw in a map, but will draw in a 'layer' at the given z, and will be able to remove it, and it returns a drawingID.

Last time I used a line drawing function, even outside a loop, the program crashed. I'm using an older version though, cause I need the MPEG.dll compatibility.
