it's like Eurovision only not quite as good.

I hope everyone votes/voted O_O

I voted for my first time ever! For the green party. They seemed the lesser of all evils, perhaps wanting to do something useful.

Ho hum.

I voted Open VLD (liberals) for Europe.

NV-A for the Flemish elections. I don't know what I will vote for federal elections in october. Probably NV-A as well. I don't know what I will vote for the senate either. Probably the same as for the parliament. Oh well... Why do we have to vote 7 times anyway? Stupid system.

You vote SEVEN times? UK-ers had local council & EU elections last thursday. I voted for the first time, it was incredibly underwhelming

No, I voted 1 time for Europe and one time for Flemish elections. (2)

In October we vote for the Federal state: That is the parliament and the Senate. (2)

Ok it's not seven votes. We vote four times. And we must only go 2 times. lol. :-) We can vote "blank" but we still have to come to the "vote room" (I don't know the official English term), so I'm always afraid of the long queues.

But there are SEVEN departements: Belgian, Flemish, Walloon, Brussels, Dutch, French and German.

If you're really interested in this, you can go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B … ies_and_regions

PS: we had elections in 2007 but due to the indifferences between the Walloon and Flemish parties the coalition of parties was f***ed up so we had to vote again. lol... they are blistering idiots!

I was going to vote D66 (liberals) but I had a freaking long ass day at work and when I got home at 7:00 I didn't feel like going to the polling station.

Am I a bad person? :F

In Belgium you would get fined for that, yes, because you must vote "NULL" at the train station I mean the polling station. So you are a very bad person, unless you have a DIV Doom source, then you're not.

Uhg, I *should* have voted, and now feel guilty, esp. with the BNP getting two seats and all. 6.5% of votes or something like that!
