Turns out our A-team was really a B-team in disguise. Dtuchland manages to pull this off every big competition, they always seem to win the first few games but never make it through.

Germany 1 - Turkey 0 The sentimentalist in me wants turkey to win but missing so many players I feel Germany will power through. although they did win their last game (on penalties) with 6 players missing. I'm going to go with Russia to beat Spain on penalties after a 2-2 draw. Russia 2 - Spain 2 ____________ I see 57,005 people. |

Turkey's player choises have really narrowed down, the coach has said he might put their third goalie on the field to defense, even to opening line up. Having only 14 players left, if Turkey makes all the three allowed changes we'll see him for sure. Russia is missing Kolodin and Torbinski due to yellow cards. Kolodin is the defender that has that awesome shot. Torbinski is the guy that hit the winning goal against Dtuchland. On the plus side, Russia missed Arshavin from their first game against Spain which Spain took 4-1. Hiddink said he would rather play against Italy than Spain because Spain plays the same kind of possessive football as Russia -- if you ask me Russia has let the opponent bang its head at the Russian defense line and when Russia has got the ball they've created fast counter-attacks. Spain is going to have an opponent much like Italy but Spain's got to improve, play braver if they want to break that defense. ____________ gay |

If Germany plays with their full A-Team they'll crusify the Turks but I think the Germans might be a bit cocky and we'll even see Gomez one last time. Still, let's say 2-0 to Germany. well..i actually forgot the spain-russia match was on, and thus missed the 1st half just about, but the 2nd half was a cracker, of course spain pissing all over russia, and 3-0 it was, sundays gunna be a helluva match...place ya bets boys, i think 2-1 to spain,and thats if germans are lucky!

The one that seemed that we all got it right, Germany vs Turks, Germany was lucky for that outcome. Still, both teams have one good game and one bad game behind from the playoffs so far. Since I'm an avid fan of La Liga, I'll put my money on Spain 3-1. I hope you have trust for the Germans as well since it really could be either one, depending how they decide to play and how they ultimately work against each other.
